Zakir, huit ans, comme beaucoup d’autres garçons du village de son âge, rêve d’avoir un cheval à lui. Comme si sa volonté était entendue, son vœu est exaucé par le hasard des choses et un poulain apparaît dans la famille de Zakir. Le garçon entoure son nouveau-né de soins affectueux et l’emmène ensuite travailler dans les champs, avec l’espoir de participer aux courses. Enfin, la fête du Sabantuy arrive… Le poulain arrivera-t-il à la première place ? Quel sera le sort des héros ?

Zakharova Yulia Vasilyevna was born and grew up in the city of Kazan, Republic of
Tatarstan. In 2009 she graduated from the Kazan State Institute of Culture and Arts. Then
she studied at the Boris Shchukin Theater Institute at the Yevgeny Vakhtangov State
Academic Theater. In 2019, she completed retraining courses at the All-Russian State
Institute of Cinematography named after S. A. Gerasimov under the program "film and
television director". Member of the Union of Theatrical Figures of the Russian
Federation. Associate Professor of the Department of Film and Television Directing at
the Faculty of Theater, Cinema and Television of the Kazan State Institute of Culture.
From 2010 to 2016 she worked as an actress and director of the theater in Kazan. The
productions were performed in the repertoire of the Theater on Bulak, the Actor's House
named after Salimzhanov, the Kazan Theater of the Young Spectator, the Creative
Laboratory; and many other venues in the city. In 2016, she moved into the field
of cinematography as a production director and screenwriter. Winner of numerous
international and Russian competitions and festivals.
